Re: Spares
I am having trouble with posting to the forum right now (see my connectivity post), but will be happy to summarize the spares list and post once I figure out how to get dependable forum access. Thank you to Sam for his admin work and for helping me communicate here. I only ask because people have as...

New Rudder Quadrant
We have some corrosion where the steering cables attach to the rudder quadrant base. Anyone repaired or replaced their quadrant/base or know where to purchase a replacement?
Thanks,
Sam

Re: Spare 9.9 HP Yamaha High Thust Props
Please specify diameter and pitch of each, I believe they are different throughout the years, the ones I have on my 2013 9.9s are different than the ones on my old 2006 motors. Both are Yamaha High Thrust 9.9s but I believe the torque is different on the ones based on the smaller blocks.

Re: Cruising to Cuba Nov 2016 - Feb 2017 - - Join us?
Yes, we went twice, once in April and again in August. No surprises. Typical seas. About 16 hours from Key West to Havana. Consistent winds, sailed the whole way, 4-6ft most of the way with long period so mostly comfortable. Seas at night were more calm.

Re: Fix for stuck tilt lock mechanism
So, I have 2013 motors and both tilt locks are frozen...I cannot find any tilt grease fittings on this motor like we had on the older motors. If anyone knows where they are, please enlighten me :-) Going forward, I think it is time to design something that will release the tilt bar to lower the moto...

Re: netting openings
Call Sunrise Yacht Products, that is where many of us get ours made, they have done many PDQs so they already have the dimensions. There are a few different trampoline configurations so you are taking a chance not getting actual measurements for your boat. If you have a hull made in 1989, then you h...
