Re: New Bifacial Solar Panels

Mike, Thanks for the list of parts and pictures. Most helpful as we're planning to add solar this spring. Did you consider adding a third panel? I've been measuring and contemplating removing the back bimini since the panels have shade. Also attempting to get the most watts while being able to drop ...

Re: New MV 34 owners!

Scott and Kathy,

Welcome to the PDQ group and family. Hope to run into you when we head back to Florida.

Felix,
You're in Palm Coast? We picked up a canal home there recently and hope to move Abeamus from Kemah, TX back to Florida when the dock is rebuilt, 8 month backlog.

Re: Pulling Bundles part II - Seals and goo

The version on the top came out and that's what I will end up putting back in if I don't find documentation that indicates different. The only reason I questioned the thin gasket was it was rotated about 10 or so degrees.

Thanks,
Andrew

Re: Pulling Bundles part II - Seals and goo

Thanks John, Appreciate the advice, did you go with the o-ring and the flat gasket (circle middle seal), or the o-ring and the thicker center gasket you clip off. I ordered both! Bundles are back from the radiator shop and all clean, just need to get back down to the boat to install and take her out...

Pulling Bundles part II - Seals and goo

Abeamus started running hot in the warm waters of Galveston Bay and I'm certain if I let her run for 15-20 minutes on plane @ 3400ish the port engine would alarm. I don't like to test those limits and my temp gun was saying the temp rise wasn't close to what it should be. Both engines ran at what I ...

Re: Impeller or the whole pump? (If you have spares)

Legacy Point for now, will likely start looking for something with a cover soon.

Thanks for the notes everyone, most helpful. I did remove the top alternator bolt to swing it in a bit more and that really helped.

Re: Impeller or the whole pump? (If you have spares)

Thanks everyone, looks like the best course is to keep the rebuilt pumps handy as spares. I'll be heading to HD to pick up that handy puller soon!

Impeller or the whole pump? (If you have spares)

Hello, First time post from relatively new owners of Abeamus, (formerly Abbotsford III, Traveler, originally Basis Points). After a bit over 1000 miles (Stuart – Kemah, TX) I get why there is such a strong following for PDQs. It’s incredibly comfortable, fuel efficient, and forgiving; it also handle...
