Re: Xantrex Pathmaker
Thx for the reply.... I think I have found the solenoids for the Pathmaker but they are $36 each plus tax and shipping to end up with older Isolator technology with voltage loss. The Blue Seas ACR is what I am leaning towards but I would need some guidance from someone on how to wire them as "d...

Happy Black Friday! While working on updating electrical systems, I am looking at removing the 2006 Pathmaker battery Isolator (occasionally solenoids dont close) and updating to a Blue Seas ACR or similar. I am looking for some help on what other folks purchased and more importantly any diagrams or...

Re: Solar System Connection
Hey Bryan:
Yes, we did meet in St Aug while I was on-duty that day! Ths for your time then and your info now....it seems that by consensus controller striaght to house battery is the way to go.
Next up....replace/upgrade the Xantrex Pathmaker Isolator to a diode version modern unit.
Thx!

Hi: I am installing a solar array to keep the house batteries charged while on the hook or extended cruising. My question is should I connect the leads from the MPPT Solar Controller to the existing combiner or directly to the house batteries? My goal is to keep the house batteries charged to run th...
