Re: wiper arms?

Does anyone know the sweep and shaft length that our boats use? There are several options on the 1000.

Thank you.

Re: wiper arms and motors

As a result of non use the wiper motors on plush toy are dead along with the wiper arms

Does anyone have info on direct replacements? Amazon has an AFI 1000 that looks exact. But that seems too easy and I also need the arms

Any info appreciated

Maitenance check?

While finalizing the installation of the new engines on PLUSH TOY, my mechanic noticed that the hose feeding cooling water to the port shaft was very close to the waterline - he re-routed about 8" higher to prevent any water from flowing back into the engine. Not sure why the port side was lowe...

Re: Fuel Pick up tube problem

Problems with the pick up tubes were the first indication of the trouble that we had on PLUSH TOY. It was after seeing the tubes that we tested the fuel and determined that we had received some diesel mixed with gasoline. With regard to cleaning the tanks, I used LUK FUEL here in Florida. They did a...

Steering Fluid Reservoir

Does anyone know where the steering fluid reservoir is located? We are (finally) about done with the engine replacement on PLUSH TOY and my mechanic wants to check it out before we leave the dock.

Thanks.

Prop pitch for 110hp engines

My boat is currently being upgraded to the 110's. Does anyone have the specifications for the correct prop pitch for these? My mechanic says that an extra 10HP is not a big deal, and the current pitch may be OK, but it seems that a 10% change in HP should warrant a different pitch. Any help is appre...

Re: Rebuilt Engines for Sale - Like NEW 2006 PDQ 34

Here are some photos that I got from Mark Chamberlain from when he made the change on his boat. This was a huge help to my mechanic.

Rebuilt Engines for Sale - Like NEW 2006 PDQ 34

I am in the process of replacing the engines on my 34 with 110's. The original engines had some damage (mainly the injectors) from bad fuel, and are being rebuild by Mastry Engine Center in Tampa. If anyone wants some like new engines, they can get a very good deal here. Please let me know and Ill p...

Fuel Tank Pickups

We have been having some fuel problems on PLUSH TOY and now suspect that we are getting some air in through the fuel pickup lines. These seem to have deteriorated after some GASOLINE was put into the tanks about a year ago. While it was only 20 gallons, and we were able to pump most of it out and se...

Re: Hauling Boat - sling / stand placement

Thank you everyone. I did find the information in the architectural drawings. There is a lot of info on those pages, so I missed it the first time around.

The boat is going to the yard today - should have her back early next week !

Re: Rule Bilge pump failure

I too had problems with both pumps recently. I think the issue is that our boats are so dry that the pumps fail from lack of use! I now run my pump on manual for a few seconds every few weeks just to keep the parts moving!
