being new to sailboats, how concerned should i be about lightning strikes, I don't think pdq's come with grounding plate, how many owners have added this upgrade, did it help

It is a lIPO house battery, the engines run on e175 which are currently in the rear of the cockpit, currently on the hard in Pensacola, battery locations are going to change, just not sure where yet, we hope to get the boat in the water next week, and take our maiden voyage to crystal river where we...

Hopefully picking up Sandy Bottom (Tom Kat) next week in Pensacola, new standing rigging and bottom paint, for our first trip to Crystal River to do owner maintenance before sailing on to new home in Oriental NC

Looking for ways to control engine tilt from helm, anybody done this? TomKat, soon to be Sandy Bottom, has two navy e6 electric outboards, the motors are hydrogenator's, when cruising on one engine the other engine can be charging itself, at 4.5 knots sailing speed you can have both engines charging...
