Re: Hose lengths- head to holding tank, macerator to overboard seacock
Nick, I would confirm the pump is working properly first. Maybe heat the hose to help in removal. Then see if it will empty CLEAN water into a bucket. If so the hoses may have indeed reached end of life. My old hoses looked like what I imagine clogged arteries do. At least 50% blockage. Good Luck, R...

Re: SS tubing for transmission cooler
Correct John, the 110 mechanical engines don't have the same oil cooler the other engines have, it's part of the oil filter base. So the hose routing changes quite a bit both in direction and in diameter. I used new Sendure coolers with the proper hose barb (much less expensive by the way), no more ...

Re: sanitation hose?
John, I don't have your layout but I did replace my hoses last year. Best trick I found was to connect the new hose to the old with a 1 1/2" nylon hose barb coupling, then pull the new in using the old. I used the very flexible Raritan hose that has a 10 year permeation warranty. that "sme...

Re: Repowering with 110HP
Sorry I am a little late to the party. I did this a year ago with mechanical 110's. Can't help with the harness length, I reused the originals. My research found all MV34's regardless of horsepower used the same transmission and same ratio. The 3200 rpm engine requires a bigger " bite" so ...

Hello Andrew,
Where in Kemah are you keeping your boat? We were in Waterford Harbor for '14 and '15. We live near Ft Worth. I know your boat fairly well, great choice.

BJ,
Did the kit include the piston seal? I recently bought a kit but there was no seal for the piston and i could not find one in the Seastar line. My kit will fix an external leak but will not solve rudder alignment troubles.

Re: Hose lengths- head to holding tank, macerator to overboard seacock
Hey Doug, We should have discussed this at Green Turtle. I just did this project in February. 1. The hose is 1 1/2" except for about 2' of 1" at the toilet. there is a 1" x 1 1/2" reducer under the floor near the toilet. 2. My boat has a manual overboard pump, not electric, it is...

In Stuart it's Costal Metal Works for the structure and G & G Canvas for the canvas work, if I recall correctly.

Still at home, but hope to get to the boat next month. No definite plans for next year but really looking forward to a Bahamas trip, whenever that can happen.

Re: tv dish on boat?
Hey John, This is not exactly what you asked for, but I do have some experience with a similar situation. My RV roof top dome failed and was obsolete anyway. I replaced it with a Dish Tailgater portable dome. It only requires the coax from the receiver, no external power. Place it on the ground and ...

Duane is correct, it took 94 to fill it. That still is a fair amount of unusable fuel.

Re: Effective Fuel
On mine, when the port engine runs out of fuel the main tank held 94 gallons. You can get a little more usable on plane because the pick ups are closer to the rear of the tank. When you slow down coming off plane there is an unpleasant surprise waiting.

Re: Single Engine Operation
Nick, If your engine raw water intake "scoops" are facing forward, I know from experience the seacock needs to be closed or the engine will hydrolock from the water being forced past the impeller. I think you may have 100 hp engines and the "scoops" may face aft. Check first befo...

Nick,
Sorry for not checking back sooner. I think I remember you on a Bayliner, congrats on a great choice on Kent's pride and joy. I am at home and my boat is in Ft. Myers, maybe we will see you along the way or the '21 rendezvous.
