Re: Staying onboard in dry dock
Thank you for the reply Bruce. May I ask how you are blocked? I’m planning on blocking under keels and hulls rather than under bridge deck for 5 to 7 days. Is anyone blocked this way that’s staying aboard?

Re: Fuel tank
Thanks for the good advice. I also got some good advice from Sam Densler. I will trace and inspect the vent hose carefully looking for a low spot. Sam said that we can also get dirt dobbers in our vent hoses down here ( Punta Gorda) so I will check for those too. Probably will just replace the old h...

Fuel tank
Hi, my name is Warren. I am the current owner of Makala ( pdq 36, formerly brigadoon II), hull # 36014. At some point in the past, the fuel tank was replaced with a plastic (abs?, polyethylene?) tank. This tank expands at the top when being filled and does not vent unless someone is standing on the ...

Re: Hull number
Thanks Sam. That clears it up. Somewhere, someone made a typo on the hull # section of the documentation. I am currently getting this cleared up with such. The hin on the documentation is correct and the surveyor included a picture of it on the survey. I'm sending that to uscg.

Hull number
new owner, Can someone enlighten me as to the difference between the hull identification number ( HIN) and the hull number? The documentation form has QPQ00014F191 for the hull identification number and QPQ00015F191 for the hull number. The surveyor says that this is not correct and should be addres...

Hi, newbie here. Does anyone know what the function of the post on the salon table is on the 1991 pdq 36? Can this model be converted in order to make the drop down salon bed? Thank you.

Re: hot and cold water lines
Thanks, I have the ventless one without the batteries but cannot seem to get it to turn on. I got the instructions for the battery operated one and asked for new instructions but I think the company service rep is on vacation. Any installation advice from anyone out there with a new excel is greatly...

hot and cold water lines
I am trying to install a new excel water heater in my 36 classic in the starboard aft locker. Does anyone know which of the water lines connect to the expansion tank (the hot or the cold line)? I removed the old wolter heater and didn't mark the hot and cold lines. Thanks, Warren
