Re: Fuel gauges not working

Bill, On our boat, the fuel gauges come on from a breaker on the DC sub panel labeled instruments. Was it on? If so, I would check to be sure there is power coming out of the breaker. On the fuel spill, it can be a challenge to not get some spitting when filling our boat. I try to really slow the pu...

Re: Air Conditioner Replacement

Thank you all for the input. I also heard separately from James Power. Perhaps our boat was unusual with an 18K unit. James says he has replaced multiple with 16K. I did some more measuring and the only 18K 115 volt available is probably not going to fit as it is 1.5 inches taller than the one we cu...

Re: Air Conditioner Replacement

Help please. I didn't get any replies to this post. We need to replace the salon a/c unit. Ours is a 18,000 BTU CruiseAir. I can only find one 115 volt 18K BTU unit and it is a Dometic which now owns CruiseAir. It does not come with a control head. The unit is rather expensive. There are several 16,...

Air Conditioner Replacement

We the same rust problem in the pans of both a/c units that has been written about before on the forum. The bottom of the compressors are also rusty. No leaks yet but I am planning to go ahead and replace the salon unit and maybe both. I don't think replacing the pan would be a great option with the...

Re: Starter

Tim, I have not had the problem you are referring to but I had to replace the starter on the port side. The starter itself was fine in my case, it was only the solenoid that is mounted to the starter. It seems to me there are two solenoids on the starting system, one on the starter and one tucked aw...

Re: $29 can safe you thousands $$$

For anyone that has newer electronics (we recently had all new Raymarine installed) the exhaust temp and high bilge water alarm can be wired into the MFD's. We had it done for both sets of alarms. The only down side is the MFD's must be on to get an alarm but I was satisfied with that. We also had t...

Re: OVEN ALTERNATIVE

We have had our 2006 for 2.5 years and it had a 1.5 cubic foot LG convection oven when we got it. I believe it is original to the boat. I can't find a printing date on the owners manual but it the warranty does say it is a warranty for LG Canada. To the best of my knowledge the boat left Canada when...

Re: Rear sliding door

After another discussion with the door manufacturer, it looks like we either have the A or B doors. Does anyone know which we have?

Thanks,
Alan

Re: Rear sliding door

Does anyone have the part number for the sliding door? I contacted the folks at the number above and they said the best thing would be for me to get a part number from someone that has replaced the rollers.

Thanks,
Alan

Raymarine Electronics Available

Hi All, We are just about done with the installation of a full new suite of Raymarine Electronics. All of the old stuff has been removed and I would be happy to give any or all of it to anyone who would like it. There are two E80 Chartplotters, 18" Radar, Autopilot and a remote Autopilot. Every...
