Cockpit drain cover
One of my cockpit drain covers broke.
The pair of drains is in the recessed area just before the cabin entrance.
I am having difficulty locating a replacement. Does anyone know where
To acquire new ones .
Thanks

Cockpit Enclosure
I have purchased a 1996 PDQ LRC in rough shape. Several projects underway to bring it back to great condition. I need help with the cockpit enclosure. The PO did not have one, but to sail in cooler weather I will need one. Does anyone know of a canvas shop that has made one previously ? Maybe have a...

1997 PDQ LRC for sale - Reverie
Reverie is for sale. My wife says we need more cabins for the grandchildren. We have really upgraded this cat with new Calvert main, genoa, and Zipper pack cover, new forestay and furling, navionics +++++++ lots more. This is a very rare twin head LRC. Each hull has a Queen bed and a separate head wi...

Engine Room Access
For a heavy weight old man like myself access to the engine room via the deck hatch is nearly impossible. After reading Terry Green's idea of adding access through the shower wall I decided to create an access panel that would hinge up and out-of-the-way to allow Quick and easy access to the diesel ...

Re: LRC versus Classic Specs
There are several differences.
LRC has:
Backstays
Stainless bow protectors with bridle rings for anchor bridle
Skegs to protect the rudders and balance the boat on the hard.
Diesels with saildrives
maybe more .....

Re: Stern mounted outboards
Wow, that sounds perfect. I assume that left enough strength in the bulkhead for support.
I will look into having this done to Reverie.
Thanks,
Mike

Re: Stern mounted outboards
Thanks for the the info Terry,
I have a short door in each shower ( Reverie has 2 heads ) but the access is restricted to the
front of the motor. Did you enlarge an existing hatch ?

Diesel panels
I have recently had 2 custom panels made for Reverie. I hated the panels mounted in the lazarett.
The new ones use a multi-function gauge as well as idiot lights.
The fuel shutoffs remain in the lazarette but relocated.

Stern mounted outboards
I am new to PDQ's but not to cats. Reverie is a 36 LRC and has 2 18hp yanmars. I have been reading the forum for the last few weeks while Reverie is getting a lot of upgrades. I have owned a main cat 30 with twin outboards similar to the PDQ and I hated the restricted access to the motors. I noticed...

Thanks for the photos - it helps to see it done.
I am not too worried about a little overlap on the scoops.
