yamaha 9.9 engines
I replaced both of my Yamaha outboards, and I'm selling the old engines. One has 1450 hours and the other 1750 hours. They were both purchased in 2013. They both run, but I'm still doing long distance sailing to central America and felt the need to have new engines. Both can be had for $600, or $400...

Re: Teleflex control cables
Just to finish out this thread, the cable to the starboard side was 9 ft and the port side 12 ft. My second replacement in 9 years.

PDQ 32
I will be putting my PDQ 32, Island Time, on the market next week. She has been a great boat to sail these past 8 years, allowing me to cruise to Mexico, the Bahamas, and Cuba. (Single-handed). I am moving on to get a boat to do the great loop, meaning going to the dark side. I will be signing with ...

What did you pay for the new netting, and is the old netting still available?

Re: galley sink faucet
Joe,
thanks for the response and info. I ordered a whale faucet (WHA-tb4112) from jmsonline, since seeing it recommended on an earlier post.
I let all know how that turns out.

galley sink faucet
I need to replace my galley faucet on the 32. The PDQ 36 may have a similar arrangement. The two supply nipples to the faucet go out the back through the wall, and do not make a 90 degree turn and go through the counter. Looking at old posts, it appears both Scanvik and whale make replacements, but ...

Re: battens
as follow- up, the battens slid readily into the cars when I had a helper. Simply a two-man job. Sail shape was improved considerably.

battens
I recently had my main repaired as needed, after an inspection by a sail loft indicated still in pretty good shape. I decided to replace the battens with stiffer ones. When installing the new ones of the same length, they are sticking out of the pocket at the leach by an inch. Question - is the luff...

mainsail
As information, I finally ordered a new mainsail for my 32. The old one had almost completely lost its shape. The 3 bids I got were: North sails $4200 Mack Sails $2876 Rolly Tasker $1998 UK sails never responded. I am going with Rolly tasker. They have distributors in the US, but the sails are made ...
