Re: Flybridge Tachometer
I too have had an issue with an intermittent tachometer on the flybridge. We did find that the cable connection inside the lower helm had come loose. So far, tightening it has worked.

Raymarine ST6002 Smart Pilot Autohelm Control
My Raymarine ST6002 Smart Pilot Autohelm Series Control Head (model E12098 - surface mount) just died. Anyone know of a source (besides eBay) for this older piece of electronics? This is for a charter boat so I need it pretty fast.

Re: Battery Compartment dimensions
Richard, Interesting. Let me see if I'm understanding this. You have 5 Lifeline GPL-24T AGM batteries located in the small battery compartment in front of the sliding entry door on your 34' Powercat? What year is your boat? That's amazing that they all fit. Could you please send me a top-down pictur...

Re: Battery Compartment dimensions
Richard,
Thanks for the battery dimensions. Where exactly are your 5 AGM batteries located? My battery compartment holds only 4 batteries (wet-cell now).

Battery Compartment dimensions
I'm about to swap my wet cell batteries for AGM batteries. However, my 2006 34' PDQ Powercat boat is a charter boat in a fleet of charter boats here in Bellingham, WA and is out on charter virtually every week for the entire summer (it is very popular). I need to know the exact dimensions of the bat...

Re: Double upper helm seat.
Not only is this seat a great find, but it is 20% OFF now at Overton's -- $312 with free shipping. I can't pass this up. Our current seat is 10 years old and pretty worn out. Thanks so much for the tip!

Re: Double upper helm seat.
I too need to replaced the double bucket seat on our PDQ 34. Any issues encountered when installing it?

Re: Need Window lock
For anyone interested in this issue, I successfully replaced the window latch. It was surprisingly easy. With the help of our maintenance "pro", we did the following... all from outside the cabin: 1. Removed the U-shaped rim gasket starting at the top of the outer window frame and removed ...

AC Panel Light Replacement
Anyone know where I might find a replacement circuit board that controls the light for the main AC power breaker on the AC panel on my 34' Powercat? It's a small circuit board with 3 lights. The lights are soldered to the board. After testing, our diagnosis is that the board itself has failed.

Re: E80 Radar Control
Good question. I'm in the same boat so to speak. We recently purchased a 34' Powercat and have yet to even attempt to use the radar. I'd like to know how to turn it on and how to integrate it with the chart plotter.

Re: Need Window lock
Does anyone know how to safely remove the sliding window panel from the frame to gain access to the fixed window... I think that is what needs to happen to install the latch and roll pin.

Re: salon window screen removal
John, would your instructions also apply to gaining access to the fixed window? I need to install a new window latch on the window next to the helm in the salon. I think I need to remove the sliding window to get to the front edge of the fixed window where the latch attaches.
