Honda 15
All, I was checking out PDQ's for sale on Yachtworld.com and I saw a 36 in California that had Honda 15's installed in the proper engine locations. Does anyone have more info on this particular setup? How well do the engines fit and do they clear the water when lifted? Maybe I missed it somewhere on...

Re: Steering Noise
All, I've found the problem. The noise is coming from the steering box, but only because the steering cable is binding up a tad where it exits the red tubing just in front of the starboard steering quadrant. The noise is just a little play in the box caused when the cable starts to develop some seri...

Re: Steering Noise
Guys, I've removed the autopilot and the noise is still there. I broke out my Dr. Tom stethoscope and I can clearly hear the noise originating from the steering box. It doesn't seem to be getting any worse, so I will probably wait until we are further down island to pull it a part and see if it can ...

Steering Noise
All, Dream Catcher is now happily bobbing at anchor in Green Turtle, Abacos. On the crossing over, we developed a little noise at one particular angle in our steering. The noise appears to be coming from the steering box and it sounded like a little click. It also felt like there might have been jus...

Freedom 10
All, Just wondering if anyone has some secret voodoo magic up their sleeve to get my Freedom 10 Charger/Inverter to start inverting again. It still charges, but it doesn't invert. I've tried the obvious reset fuse on the unit itself to no avail. Any and all ideas are appreciated before I take this P...

Coastal Living
All, Team Dream Catcher was featured on the cover of Coastal Living's July/August issue ( See us here : http://www.coastalliving.com/magazine/july-august-issue-00414000068009/ ). Synthetic Rigging
All, I am curious if anyone out there has made use of any of the new synthetic rigging products. I recently met a fellow at the Oriental town dock who had a 40 foot home built cat and he had replaced all his standing rigging with a product called Dynex Dux. His rig was quite a bit bigger than mine, ...

Water Pooling
All, I've always wondered if I am the only one who gets a small pool of water just aft of the trampoline on the fiber glass deck, starboard side of the inner fore stay mount. It's not a lot, but any time it rains or we take green water over the deck we get a little pool approximately 12 inches wide,...

Aha, so your the one reading along. I knew that had to be one of you out there. The site is back up, sort of. I had a major meltdown with my service provider and I am slowly getting my data back in order. The site is accessible now, but some parts have yet to be restored. regards, Tom 36041 www.tend...

Shoot Thru or Just Thru Thru
Hey all, I have recently received a new transducer for our chart plotter to extend its functionality as a depth sounder as well. We already have the factory autohelm depth sounder which has a thru hull installation in the forward starboard side tube. The instruction manual for the new unit says it c...
