I've been using Amsoil 15-40 full synthetic oil for years.
I'm very satisfied, and with testing you can go to 300 hrs.
Change oil filter every 100 hrs.

Inside the boat, has screws, which I think hold the window in. Want to remove it to get the powder coat repaired. Thanks

Starboard stateroom leak was caused by sliding door assembly that wasn't caulked from factory. I caulked several times, but the torquing of the boat kept separating seal. Fix was to use Flex Seal tape on top of door assembly. Been dry for 3 years.

Teamwork installed a new water pump annually until I started filtering all water going into tank. Whole house charcoal filter from Lowe’s $34-40 . I haven’t changed a pump in 6 years. When checking oil levels, the dipstick shows different levels on each side.
Is there a secret to it? I've emailed Yanmar, talked to Yanmar mechanics, no answers from either.
