PLUSH TOY is going in for some new bottom paint next week - can someone point me to information on where they should (or shouldn't) position the slings to hoist her and stands when she is on the hard?
Thank you
Larry

Re: E120 Backlight - Time to Upgrade
It is rare to find someone so thorough, so I wanted to say another good word about steve at ETF. He got my unit yesterday, fixed it, sent me a photo and Ill have it back today. All for $695 including shipping.

Re: E120 Backlight - Time to Upgrade
I spoke with Steve at ETC yesterday and it seems like he really knows what he is doing with this fix - he has 4 E120's on his bench now and will have mine there by tomorrow. He said he will send me a photo of my unit powered up before I pay (showing the serial number so that I know its mine) and sho...

E120 Backlight - Time to Upgrade
The backlight on my E120 has gone bad. THis is the second unit to have this problem (My neighbor gave me his old E120 when my first one failed). I read that this CAN be repaired but that it is not worth spending the $$ on an old unit. So, the question is, what is the recommended upgrade? I still hav...

Transom Shower Trim
The plastic insert that holds the showerhead in our transom shower has cracked allowing the showerhead to fall into the bilge. I was able to pull it out, but need to replace the insert. Any ideas/suggestions on where I can find this would be appreciated.

Gelcoat Polish
The crew that I used to polish our MV34 has always told me that they could not get a good shine from the Gelcoat. Today they declined the job, saying that it is just too hard and that no matter what they do, it looks chalky. Can anyone recommend a product/process to get a decent shine (I don't care ...

Re: Engine instrumentation upgrades
We had considered doing this on Plush Toy, but were told that the cost was prohibitive. As a backup, I asked James Power to check that all of the "dummy lights" on the flybridge were in working order - just so that we had a way to know if there was a problem.

Thru hull handle
While working in the bilge I accidentally cracked the engine thru hull handle. It looks like a replacement could be easily screwed on, but I can't figure out the manufacturer of the thru hull. If anyone knows the make and model or has any suggestions for the repair, p,ease let me know. Thank you Lar...

Flybridge Helm Cover
I purchased a flybridge helm cover from Dick a few months ago, but I am having a hard time figuring out how to install it. Can anyone send me some photos of theirs? This is the cover that goes over the windscreen, covers the dash, and secures to the back of the helm seat. I have new cockpit cushions...

Re: MV 34 bridge clearance with mast up (and down)
I have not measured, but my notes say that the clearance is 18'2" with everything up, and 12'4" with the mast and bimini down.

Horn Switch
The horn switch on the flybridge of my PDQ 34 powercat is not working. The switch at the lower helm does work.
When I bypassed the flybridge switch, it still did not work, which doesn't make sense, unless each switch has its own relay. Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks.
