Re: ANCHOR KELLET

Yes Marc,
That was exactly why I used the kellets.....and it worked well. I too had a cut in my keel from an anchor line.

Thankfully my 34 does not have that problem. The kellet is rusting away in a forward locker.

Re: ANCHOR KELLET

This brings back memories... anchored in Pipe Creek in the Exumas...bad current so I had an anchor off each bow...one forward and one aft, each with a kellet on the line.... Every morning it was an experience to untangle the mess..

Re: ANCHOR KELLET

I used a 10-15 lb mushroom anchor, a carbiner hook and a length of line.... worked great.

Waste Tank Level Indicator

Has anyone removed the tank level indicator from the waste tank? Mine is not getting a reading on the guage in the head and I would like to repair or replace it.

As long as it stabilizes at 90, it should not be a problem.

Re: Anchor chain castles lifting chain off gypsy

Ditto what John and John said.... I use 60 ft of chain and 150 ft rode.

With that said... anchors and chain are a personal thing...you are the one at the end of the anchor, chain and line.

Re: Achoring in the Bahamas with a MV 34

I also have a 35 lb CQR with 60 ft of chain. It has worked well for 10 years in the bahamas both on the 36 sail cat and the 34 powercat.

Re: Exhaust Elbow Spacer

Hey Jerry,
I have the 110 HP engines.... the large spacer is unique to those engines. I am not knowledgeable about the 100 hp engines. I know that Roger on Teamwork has had recent experience with the exhaust elbow on your engine. He is here in the Bahamas with us. I will have him reply.
