Send a private message to mikeandrebecca (Zero to cruising) who are members on this forum. They have spent a lot of time in Grenada and can probably help you with local sources.

Re: Solar panels
Look on e-bay and find the best bargain in a solar kit. Try to find a MPPT controller if you can. I would suggest going to 4-6v golf cart batteries, 2 each in series for your 12v output. As far as the panels go, you want enough wattage to run things onboard (Fridge, watermaker, etc.) and still have ...

Re: URGENT - Rudder replacement
According to my records hull 36057 is a classic. PDQ rudders are different for classics and LRCs.

Re: Fridge compressor water intake location?
As far as I know, all of the original installations were Nova Kool refrigerators. An Adler Barber unit was probably installed by a previous owner. None of the originals used cooling water.

Re: Surveyor recommendation
I would recommend that you find one on the BOAT US list: https://www.boatus.com/insurance/survey.asp
They list competent surveyors since they also insure boats.

Re: Weight and dimension of Hardtop
Take a look at this option. We put one on our present boat and love it. You can't walk on it, but it's a great way to replace a canvas bimini. http://www.hardtotop.com/

Re: Galley sink saltwater faucet
We had a factory installed unit in Second Wind. It was connected through the A/C cooling hose and used only a foot pump.

I'm not sure about the 34's, but our 36 did not have gel coat. It was painted.

Re: Where does head hose connect to holding tank?
Try a couple of doses of Odorlos. We had the same problem and it got rid of the smell without replacing the hoses. you can buy it at Campingworld (cheaper) or West Marine.

Re: Stern mounted outboards
The hatch was cut from 3" above the shower floor, across the angle to 3" below the upper (3" all around). A seal was placed and it was secured with sliding pins. We had it done in Annapolis by a professional marine carpenter. I don't have any pictures and we no longer own the boat. Af...

Re: Stern mounted outboards
We had a large hatch cut into the Shower stall which gave us unrestricted access to the starboard engine. Access on the port engine was already OK.

Re: Emergency Tiller
Sam, There was one on SecondWind. If you contact Don he might be willing to show it to you if he still has it. It was nothing but a piece of bent pipe with a slit in the end. He's on this forum.
