Hi Sandy,

We used a coat hanger and strips of cotton fabric made into a ball. Not very high tech, but works fine.

Genset intake blockage

Hi folks, I appologize for not posting the resolution to this problem. It seems that the intake tube is not coated with the bottom paint except for the lower couple of inches. Turns out we had an oyster growing in the tube. Since we just hauled the boat for a bottom job, we painted the full length o...

Genset raw water intake

Hi,

The genset is a Northern Lights 5kw. The strainer is located high on the bulkhead. I have checked the strainer cap and fittings and have not located an air leak. I have been unable to prime by refilling the strainer and lines.

Genset raw water intake

I have been having a problem with the genset raw water intake loosing prime after not being used for several days. I have been unable to locate any air leaks. Has anyone else had this problem? What is the best way to reprime while away from the dock? Any thoughts?

Change the address to http://www.customerservice@pdqyachts.com instead of engineering. I had the same problem and called him for the new address.

The leaks are coming in from the headliner corners for and aft above the wardrobe where the headliner meets the outer hull. There was evidence of some type brown staining to indicate the leak, no water was s...

Hello,

MY son and I have been running the boat for the last month or so quite a lot. The weather here has been very nice this winter and we have been able to short cruise all year. We are looking forward to the warming season so we can hit the water. Take care.

Bottom Paint for electronis

WHAT TYPE OF BOTTOM PAINT SHOULD BE USED OVER THE PLASTIC TRANSDUCERS THE FACTORY IS INSTALLING NOW. I RECENTLY HAD TO CHANGE OUT THE TRANSDUCER. THE REST OF THE BOTTOM IS ACP 50.
