Has anyone run into the need to change the cover of the electric tilt motor on the T9.9? The Yamaha site shows it as a $467.30 part, when the entire assembly is only $410. I use this one as it has a double ziplock style seal and fold over flap. I have had it on a 14' Hobie cat and it works great.

Don't know for sure if its low battery or lost connection to compass. But it may actually be a bad connection/corroded connector. We had an error like that (cant remember the code) and it was actually a wire that came loose behind the display. Hope that helps.

One common problem is stress on the slides from a bad boom angle. Check your topping lift or rigid vang (if you have one) and lift the far end of the boom when raising or lowering. That might help.
