Re: Sliding Window Pull Handle
Thanks, the Bomar part #, and the price was just as you said!!! The folks were really nice, but I don't think they are still making them any more. Now that I have them in hand, how do you install them? Looks like the window will have to be removed!! Hope not, any help will be appreciated. Roger on T...

Re: fluxgate compass
Hey Stray Cat, my compass is in the aft seat stbd side of the dinette. I can't change to where yours is, as I have a central vacuum under center seat. Still more than 3' from compass. I wish the GPS compasses would come down in price soon. Roger on Teamwork.

fluxgate compass
Has anybody had to move the fluxgate compass on a powercat? I can't get less than 15 degrees deviation, and it needs to be boxed/swung fairly often. I don't have any motors or tools within 3.5' of the compass. I have an inverter, and a 100amp battery charger under the lower helm, but all is over 3' ...

Re: exhaust elbow
Chet, an expert at changing them is Josh Roberts 910-620-3212. He will order from Mack Boring, and discount some. I have one used, that looks good as the new one, and one that can be repaired. Josh lives in Wilmington, NC. Roger Comer Teamwork

Re: curtains for front windows
I installed the shades from Lowes today, and used the brackets that came with them. No problem, even for a one armed man!! They look good, all that is left is to buy some industrial velcro for the bottom.
Thanks all for the good info. Roger C.

Re: curtains for front windows
Hey Tom, thanks for the good ideas. I plan to fasten the shades right to the fiberglass over hanging the windows, plenty of room for screws above, didn't quite understand the use of plywood. Thanks again, Roger C.

Re: exhaust elbow
John, I thought you would be back to me. The leak is on the pipe that connects to the turbo, there won't be any question when it starts leaking, water will be in your engine bilge and all over the trans cooler, transmission, engine, and motor mounts. James said he had one welded, ss should be OK, bu...

exhaust elbow
Has anybody replaced their exhaust elbows on 100 hp. engines? I have one [port] leaking badly, and have read so much on how cheaply made the Yanmar elbows are made, I wondered if there was a good aftermarket one. When they leak, you will have raw/salt water all over the aft end of your engine!!! I g...

curtains for front windows
Has ANYone figured out how to 'attractively' cover the PDQ front windows? I'm personally going nuts. I have tried sewing same shape covers & applying with velcro but eventually they sagged. I have tried tie back curtains, but my husband says even when tied back they impede his view for operating...
