Re: PDQ 32 LRC
Hi Tom Even though we're far from your height, I hear you about the standing head room! We always have our dodger up though and thus, unless we are leaving the boat and locking it up, we always have the slider open, even at night. When we were back in Canada this was NOT the case, either due to mosq...

Re: PDQ 32 LRC
I agree with a few of the comments above. I may be biased but I am not at all convinced that a 36 is a better boat for cruising than a 32. We sailed our 32 from Canada to Grenada (and then north to St. Martin and back to Grenada) and it has served us extremely well with very little issues.

Re: How to remove quad spin lock
Hi Brian
I don't have the answer to that but is it not possible to change out the lever without removing the spin lock from the deck? I hope it is. I bought an extra lever because a friend told me that they do sometimes break but as of yet, I have not had to break it out.

Halyard swing?
Here's a rather frivolous question... how hard on rig the rig is it to swing on the halyard, as in, swing out over the water, let go and go splash?

Re: Prop Pitch
I only was able to get that info so easily because we just spun a prop and had to replace it. The old one was sitting right here.

You tricked me, Dave. I thought "A PDQ just crossed the Pacific?" and clicked your link.

Re: Med Mooring
Most of the places where we have seen this done have mooring balls set in front that you attach to and then back in stern-to the dock. They also frequently have a marina tender come out to assist with this. We needed to do this last July in Grenada and found it quite easy. Fortunately there was no 2...

Re: Honda 15
* Ventilation is a phenomenon that occurs when surface air or exhaust gas (in the case of motors equipped with through-hub exhaust) is drawn into the spinning propeller blades. With the propeller pushing mostly air instead of water, the load on the engine is greatly reduced, causing the engine to r...
