Re: Prosine "Battery Size" Input for Trojan T-145s
Hi Ron, Yeah, Trojan is doing this interesting marketing thing now ... so, when ordering, note the "Plus" stands for individual caps versus the 3-cell "bar." You can get them either way. We ordered the Plus-es to get the individual cell covers. Easier to inspect and fill we think...

Re: Sliding Window Pull Handle
I know that the previous owner (Steve Trow) replaced at least one of these. He was active on the Forum before but he's gone on to Manta-land ... but I will email him to see if he will participate in this thread.

Re: Racor Filters
Hi folks,
New to vacuum gages here and we'd love to know what "new" readings you all see and what the "replace" reading typically is.
Thanks much,
Mark

Re: Prosine "Battery Size" Input for Trojan T-145s
Cecil and I went through this thread off Forum. Thought it might be useful for the "archives." [clip] They are going these days for about $220 per, typically with a $10 buy back of your old battery. Battery Outlet had them for $189, net $179. Hope this helps! ------------- On Oct 16, 2011,...

Re: Prosine "Battery Size" Input for Trojan T-145s
Hi John, The original batteries from PDQ are 225 amp hour each, so I think a four-bank of 6-volt 225s would equal a 450 amp hour 12-volt house bank. But that's why I'm asking the group ... I know there are some real electrical system pros out there. If my above math is correct, then I think you net ...

Prosine "Battery Size" Input for Trojan T-145s
Hi folks, I know a bunch of MV owners have gone "up" in battery size. Question 1: What batteries did you buy and what "battery size" number did you put in your Prosine? Our Prosine has 440 entered in it now for the four original Canadian batteries (4 x 225 ah). Equivalent to the ...

Thanks for getting back to me Russ.
Where did you get the LEDs?
And I thought I had heard they could be over-powered or some such thing in a standard fixture? Any problems?
Best, Mark

Managing the Waterway Warehouse Sale Update
Just an update on our MTW warehouse sale ... 1. The 2011 DVDs of e-charts and government publications are sold out. Sorry. If you are interested we can pass along the names of retailers who still have these in stock but they will unfortunately be more expensive. Our 2012 edition will be available in...

Reading Light Replacements
Hi folks, Although I'm sure Diana and I would appreciate the warmth in winter, in Maine ... the halogen reading lamps are cooking us out here in the Bay! We had the same issue with our PDQ 36 but never did anything about it. Has anyone found simple replacements for those gooseneck fixtures ... maybe...

Re: Lexan Guard Over AC Rear Panel
Got a couple off-list questions. Main one was the dimensions ... ooops! Sorry.
All made out of 3/16" Lexan (scraps from re-doing the windscreens).
Large piece is 5 x 8.25" and small piece is 1.5 x 8.25", cemented, then attached to back guard with two 3/4" quarter-twenties.
