Re: Prosine off or on?

Hi Ross, Mr Busy is MV 059. We have always left the inverter in the disabled position and the charger in the on position at the dock and on shore power. We did have a similar error message once a couple of years ago and cycled just as you describe. We have never had an issue with the operation of th...

Re: Bed-making

Hi Mary and Rodger,

We have been using Travasaks since 2004. These are easy to use and have a summer and winter top side for the different seasons. Try the website http://www.travasaks.com . We have enjoyed them and they are much easier to make up and use.

Sealant / adheasive used at galley sinks

Hi all, We had a beautiful weekend here in Northwest florida this past weekend and we wre out on the water enjoying it :D . Returning to our slip late Sarurday evening saw the winds and waves pick up a fait amount and it was a bumpy, if pleasant cruise back. Once we were secure at the dock, I starte...

Re: Electrical Question

Gary, Thanks for the unsights. I wenr back down to the boat with a circuit tester and found my shore power receptacle dockside had no power on #2. It seems there is a short between the main feed and the second pedestal outlet. We notified the marina and they are sending out an electrician this after...

Electrical Question

The breaker for the cabin airconditioner will not energize when shore power 1 and 2 are on. When I turn shore power 2 off and combine panel A and B it works fine. This just started this week. Has anyone experianced this before or have any ideas or suggestions?

Thanks,

Jimmy Bradley

Re: upper helm seat

Hi Pat and John.

We have the last 04 with the newer salon layout and would also like to switch the seats. Could you possibly post pictures of your installation or send them to me. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Re: Changed Shaft Seals, AGAIN

Hi Ross, Jimmy Bradley here in Pensacola, Florida. I also had problems with both seals on "Mr Busy" in MV 059 in November 04 when we brought her back from the factory. I contacted PDQ and they in turn contacted Tides. Tides flew parts up for us to try and then flew someone up to look athe ...

Re: RPM on 100 HP Yanmar

Hi Mary and Rodger, I had a similar problem on Mr Busy. We have the 75 hp engines not the 100's though. It turned out to be the tachs/harnesses. We checked both engines with a external tachometer reading off the flywheel. It turned out that both engines were within a range of 5 t0 25 rpms depending ...

Re: Rough Water Photo

When I took delivery and started the trip back to Florida with John Johnson, the delivery captain, we had a very short window to get into the cannal. if we did not get in with in just a few days, he boat would have had to remain at the facotry till May. When we left the marina in November of 04 late...
