Hi;
I use O-ring seal silicon for a dive camera. It works pretty well, so long as you clean the rubber first. When James was down he pointed out that the small side ports have allen key adjustments. That fixed those. Hope this helped.

Re: Delimma in the toy box: seeking suggestions
I'd mount it to the dinghy and a car battery, and play with it first. Then if its not all you thought it was, there is no hole on Page 83 to plug or other electronics to untangle. I'm envious too...

Re: PDQ work tour 2009
THANKS JAMES! Poor Desert Star sat on the hard this past winter with blown out sails and two bent rudders. All wrapped up in tarps she looked pretty glum. Earlier this past week we got her cleaned up so she would look presentable when James came through on his way back to Canada. On Saturday I hande...

Re: Ceiling lights
Hi replaced most of my incandescent bulbs with replacement LED bulbs from Dr LED. They all worked fine. Some lights (like bunk reading lights) use an odd size and could not be replaced. I am planning on replacing those lights with a new unit when I find something good. I also found an LED headlamp f...

Re: traveller on hard bimini
I have not moved mine, but on hull 49 I think the hard top does not extend aft far enough, or is strong enough to handle the traveler. I have seen a couple newer 36s and the hard top is quite a bit different. I also noted in a posting about boom vangs that the angle the traveler has on the deck is p...

Re: Rigid Boom Vang
I added a soft boom vang to see if she would point a bit better or could tighten the boom in a run. It appears to help a bit, but perhaps its only my eternal optimism. My traveller is off of the deck, not the hard top, so a vang helps less in general in my case. I think I read something by Charles K...

Re: New PDQ Owner - And Glad of It!
Welcome to the neighborhood and to PDQs. There are three PDQ36s on the hard at Herrington North right now (that I know of). I think that gives us enough owners to warrant some kind of get-together.

Happy Holidays PDQ Owners.
As you celebrate the holidays in beautiful warm (or cold) places this holiday season, think of photos or short stories for the Quarterly newsletter. Some of the best photos come from the holidays. Feel free to send them to me at eric@epstein.bz.
Thanks,
Eric

Re: Gelcoat Streaks in Galley - Stubborn Discoloration
I've go the same streaks and tried a few cleaners with no luck. They appear to be in or under the gelcoat. I'll keep looking and let you know if I find any solutions.
