We rigged a table for our cockpit, but we don't have the newer bench/davit
combo. We installed a pedestal base in the floor at the aft starboard corner of
the cockpit. The pole fits into the base, and curves to run parallel to the
cockpit floor, kind of like an upside down L. For a better "picture", check with
Lewis Marine at http://www.lewismarine.com, page 764 of their catalog, figure 9341. The
table top, which we store in the "garage" (aft port cabin), slides onto the
pedestal and locks in place. I realize that this may or may not work for you,
but it might give you some ideas as starting points. Good luck
