Does anyone know the depth of the fuel tank on the 36? I want to order a sensor replacement from the Defender sale and I'm away from the boat until April.

Measured 6" deep. I'll install a five inch KUS reed switch sending unit in June.

I'm getting ready to order that five inch KUS reed switch sending unit - did it work out well for you?

Yup, hole pattern, wiring, function, all easy peasy.

I use the capacitance type of sensor on my water and holding tanks so there is no risk of gumming up the works.
