Notice to all Panda Generator owners.

Post by KOA KAI »

I recently had problems getting my Panda 8 generator to start. After hiring 3 mechanics with no success, I called Fischer Panda for advise. The Tech Support rep was very helpful, encouraged me to call any time even after hours for assistance. HERES THE IMPORTANT PART... the fix was very simple. He told me that they no longer put an oil temperature switch on the side of the oil pan. This switch had gone bad on mine and he told me to simply make a wire harnass to join the 2 yellow wires together to bipass the switch. This fixed my problem and it started right up. The oil pan is located on the bottom of the right side of the generator. You will see 2 yellow wires next to eachother plugged into the side of the oil pan. My suggestion to all Panda owners is to be proactive on this and join those wires now so it will not cause your generator to fail to start sometime when you really need it. He said this has been the problem on SEVERAL! The phone number for Panda is (954)462-2800
