Hey Dick, just installed the 4 blades, and thanks to you it's not the same boat. Much quieter and smoother. Thanks for doing all of the leg work for all that purchased the 4 blade props.

Just installed our new four bladed props and took them for a test drive today. We are most pleased with the change in the boat related to the reduced noise. It made a significant difference. We had Aqua Drives installed when we got the boat and noticed a significant reduction in noise with them. I would estimate that the change to four bladed props has at least as great an impact in noise reduction added to the Aqua Drives. Needless to say we are very happy. Nanci is extremely happy with the ease with which one can converse now while running at cruising speed and the general noise reduction for just relaxing and reading while under way.

We also noticed an additional 1.5 knots of speed. We did not get to the twenty knots reported by Henry Clews however.

Our thanks as well to Dick T. for the assistance in getting the props and the group price.

For the first time since installing the 4 bladed props we took the boat out for an extended trip and into some weather in the Straights of Georgia off the west coast of British Columbia.

In addition to the reduced noise previously mentioned there was clearly less almost no cavitation in the rough water compared to the 3 bladed props.

We continue to be very happy with this change.

T-

Do you have the 100hp or the 110's? With a clean bottom, I hit 21.8 against a small tide. I have never seem 22 ;-)

I just placed an order for the 75 HP 4 bladed props from H&H. Anyone else currently contemplating purchasing? Significant savings can be achieved with an order of 5+.

Any one else who has very recently placed an order?

Thank you

Ross

We have the 100s. I have actually never seen 20 knots.

Hope to get down your way sometime soon. I have a nephew who lives on a sailboat in Saulsilito and is a charter captain on SF bay. Would love to see your boat.

Tom.

Hi,

We just purchase PDQ 32 "Catitude" and would like to replace the current props(17X13) with 4 bladed props.
Have the order for the 75 hp 4 bladed props been placed and, if not, who would I contact to get on the list?

Hi Dick,

Have any other folks contacted you asking for a "Round 2" of 4-blade prop manufacture?

I'd be interested in a set and am wondering if you have a running list of others interested ... and if we have to have to have a minimum number of sets ... etc.

My set would be for Hull 88 (2006) and the 100 HP Yanmars.

Thanks,

Mark & Diana

Info for all-- H&H Propeller, Jim Blanchard, can not get the 4 blade props from the usual China supplier.
I was waiting since early Jan and just been given this info. May be same for 75's, 100 & 110's. They are getting my props
(75's) from michigan. Guarantee same performance, anti-sing, etc.. And I get it within a week. I would still try H&H since
they know the exact spec's for the props.

Hi Charlie,

Is it H&H that is sourcing the props for you out of Michigan?

Thanks,

Hi Chet,

What did you pay for the pair?

We just bought Blues Cruise from Steve and are thinking of putting them on.

We also have the 100's.

Thanks, Mark

Hi Mark,

Do not have a final price. My wife ordered them as a birthday gift and sent a down payment. In the $800. range.

H&H is out of Salem, Mass. The props they are now getting me are from Michigan Props (??). They should be at the yard tomorrow and can let you know for sure. Charlie on Elixir.
