Solenoid toilet valve

Post by Gadzooks! »

On Gadzooks! the valve which admits water to the toilet is a problem. It opens insufficiently or not at all. Same with both "flush" and "fill". The unit is ITT 370450092, sold by Jabsco, I believe. I replaced the whole assembly with no improvement. I have opened it up, lubricated, experimented with different internal spring strengths, checked voltage, all with no favorable results.

Anyone with similar problem, solved or not?

Hey Gadzooks!,

Is it possible that the solenoid you have is for a 24 or 36 volt system, as they make these along with 12 volt units. I have had sucess with Jabsco solenoid model # 37038-1012.

Hope this helps
James
