Replacement Propane tanks

Post by jbrad »

It is about time for us to replace our propane tanks. The locker is designed to fit the original canadian manufactures tank size and that tank is no longer available. Has anyone found a replacement that will fit? Advice on type/size and availability would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Jimmy

Rather than replace, if the tanks are in ok condition, I would simply have them recertified. Id give them a coat of paint and call it a day. Thats the Scot in me.

It depends upon their age. They must have shutoff valves an later model connections. You may need to replace the container that they are in. Don't scrimp here. the safety of you and your vessel are at stake.
