Short Salon Table Legs

Post by lgeller »

We are looking for short legs to be used when the Salon table is used as a bunk. Plush Toy came with some 2" PVC pipes that were cut to size, but these are two small, and a 3" PVC pipe is too big. Any suggestion on what will word would be appreciated.

Vita Bella was delivered with the PVC supports for the table when used as a berth. We had issues with the tabletop shifting while still in Whitby at the commissioning dock. The answer was to put Velcro on the table top (be sure to NOT put the teeth portion on the table top) and the other half along the sides of the opening that the table rests on.

We rest the end of the table that is toward the bow on the edge, insert the supports as we drop the table down, and all is well. We regularly use the table for berthing so it is no big deal. No shifting and with practice is easy to do.

We use small step boxes that serve as step stools and for the less spry at other times.
