Flybridge Helm Cover

Post by lgeller »

I purchased a flybridge helm cover from Dick a few months ago, but I am having a hard time figuring out how to install it. Can anyone send me some photos of theirs? This is the cover that goes over the windscreen, covers the dash, and secures to the back of the helm seat.

I have new cockpit cushions on order, and want to keep them covered so that they last a long time :)

Thanks

A helm cover came with Gusto. All the cushions fit forward and on top of the helm seat when it is in the aft position. It's easy to secure but helps to have two people secure it. One on the bridge and one on the foredeck to secure the snaps. Note the pole holding the middle up. If you have one, buy some 3/8" o-rings and put one over the pole end with the cover under it. That will keep the pole from dropping out of the grommet hole in the cover when the wind blows. See the 6 attached photos.
