Power Cat Electronics

Post by Gusto »

We are replacing all of the electronics on our 2006 34' Power cat. The old Raymarine electronics works fine. We just want the new stuff. Will sell the E120 and E80 chart plotters, ST6001 Smart pilot display, auto pilot remote, autopilot pump, rudder feedback unit, radar dome, all the gray boxes under the lower console, and most cables for $1000 plus shipping, OBO.

Bob,

I am considering replacing all our electronics also. I would be interested in what you decided to go with and also the cost with installation. We have gotten serious about looking into it yet but I think we will do something this winter.

We chose to go with Garmin, a 7612 chartplotter on the bridge, a 7610 chartplotter below, 18" raydome, a depth sounder sensor, the ghc20 autopilot display at the lower helm, the big smart pump because we have 2 steering cylinders, autopilot remote control for the bridge, rudder feedback unit, plus all the cablesand hydraulic stuff. That was $14,000. The labor is estimated at $6000. Ouch!

We are in St Petersburg. You are welcome to stop by anytime and check out the installation. HWH Electronics out of St Pete Beach is doing the installation. We have used them for many years. Very reputable.
