Sea cock for 100 hp engine cooling water

Post by teamwork »

Does anyone know the part number for the Marlon sea cock? Or a source to purchase two. The diameter of the hose.
Thanks,Roger Comer Teamwork hull 65

Roger,

I rebuilt both of mine last February because I had very small drip at the handle. I dealt with customer service at Forespar (949-858-8820) and they were very helpful identifying what kit was needed. Mine had a 1” interior hose diameter and the rep from Forespar identified it as a Marlon Series 93 model. I am attaching a couple of photos of mine.

Roger,

I did the same as Bob on our Port thru-hull about 4 years ago. My valve was leaking slightly into the hose to the strainer. After rebuilding it, it still leaked a bit, I could not determine the source of the leak, so I replaced it. I’ve attached a useful Valve Maintenance guide from Forespar.
