Back from Cruising

Posted by Cindy Doug on June 06, 2002 at 09:36:00:

Hey everybody..

Well we are back in the States now after spending the winter cruising the
Bahamas and the north coast of Cuba. We had a great time despite some bumps in
the road, and more importantly the boat handled wonderfully and got us through
many rough spots! We are still in Florida and taking the scenic route back to
see everything we rushed past on the way down. But we will be back living aboard
in Annapolis and will have many pictures and stories to tell if anyone is in the
area... stop by we will be at Anapolis Landing Marina again on Back Creek!
Doug and I have a few questions about boat issues we encountered... but we will
save those for another time!
A big THANKS to all the PDQers we met along the way who offered tons of great
advise, spare parts, encouragement, and freindship! We can't wait to see
everybody again at the Boat Show in October

Cindy and Doug.

I am new to the PDQForum and ran upon your 2004 posting. I am curious as to what type of boat issues you experienced. A friend and I are making "tentative plans" to travel to Cuba. While he has been to Cuba several times, I would be interested in a second viewpoint. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Kay,

You are hull 36053. 36052 is owned by Brendan Burke in Chicago.

Hi Kay,

As my friend Terry mentioned, I am the owner of the lovely Anne Z, hull #52. My boat is an LRC (the diesel version). Please feel free to drop a line as I'm sure our boats are very similar...
