Jib Furler

Post by Dan White »

My jib furler is getting very difficult to use. (It is a Selden Furlex 3000). Thus, I plan to take it apart and lube everything. Unfortunately the website instructions are woefully incomplete.
Anybody have some good tips?
Any other ideas on why it gets hard to turn?
Thanks.

No idea. In my case, the plastic bearings had begun to fail.

I posted this on my Hood furler:
