Electric Bilge Pumps

Post by Vagari »

Hi,
I do not have electric bilge pumps installed on Vagari. Was this common on PDQs? I have a 36 LRC and find this a bit dubious for a blue water boat. I assume this was common across the brand, so has anyone installed them themselves. I am interested in hearing where and how you installed them.

Hey Dean,
One option is to mount the pump in the bilge under the forward cabin soles and run the discharge hose up to the area near the fresh water tank and then thru the bridge deck.
I don't remember electric bilge pumps being installed on the 36's at the factory, just the manual pump with pickups under the same forward cabin soles.

Hope this helps
