Water tank leaks

We have a leak from the center water tank on PDQ 36 it drains into the starboard
bilge and seems to defy all efforts to locate it short of dismantling the
interior any suggestions. Also does anyone know the diameter of the rudder shaft
and have any suggestions on replacing the bearing

The water tank still leaks and so far I have found a drip into the bilge but
still cannot find out where its coming from. Both tanks leak but the tank
underthe salon seat is by far the worse leaking 5-7 gallons in about 6 hours. I
don't worry too much about the leak except the loss is approx 10% of the total

I can't imagine having to replace the tank. It would be a real nightmare.

I have the same exact problem on Folie a Deux (32047). If you find a solution
let me know. I have tried tightening all accessible connections to no avail.

My boat 32048 was built at same time as 32047 and also had a leak I never found

I did however find that the rear whale pump had a bad check valve that was
allowing all the water in the front tank (located under the bow seat) to drain
into the lower rear tank (located under starboard bunk ) and out the rear tank
vent line.
