On this 2000 Capella Classic, there is a hole on the port side of the crossbeam near the bottom seam and the end flange weld. It is about fingertip(half inch diameter) width. There are no electrical wires or fixtures in the area at this time. The nav lights are up on the cabin walls. There was an electric windlass on the starboard bow at one time, but not currently. I have included starboard side pix as a reference.
What are your suggestions for repair?

Re: Crossbeam Corrosion
UPDATE: The yard says other corrosion across the beam negates the utility of welded repairs. Replacement is the only meaningful choice. However, the yard did think it would last a while before replacement was mandatory. We will not begin the cruise for at least two years. No better pix at the moment.
