The rubber gasket which surrounds the front access opening on each main engine is falling apart. This is the gasket which attaches to the engine box and goes between between the front access 'hatch' and the engine box. About 10 feet long. Anyone had any luck finding a replacement source? Thanks.

Re: Engine Hatch Gasket
Walmart and Home Depot both sell an appropriate gasket of white EPDM rubber. In the hardware isle. It's got peel and stick backing so is easy to apply. Be sure the surface is very clean and dry; rubbing alcohol and a rag does the job.

An exact replacement is available from NAPA or any good car parts store. It come in 10' or 20' lengths. It slips on over the fiberglass lip...with great effort as it is a tight fit. I used the rubber handle of a hammer (pounding ) to put it on and it went well. Take a piece of the old one to show them exactly what you need.
