We are currently docked on the Banana river near Mather's Bridge, but we are a bit more exposed to wind and waves than we would like to be. Does anyone know of any private slips available from the Grand Canal (Satellite Beach) down south to Sebastian Inlet? I know there are several PDQ's docked at private slips in the Mather's Bridge area.
I have checked with Marinas but don't want to go that route if we don't have to. Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

You may have an issue at a private dock in Melbourne...other than the grand canal, we had a hard time finding a canal with enough width that the ordinance would allow us to dock. When you add dock width to boat beam, you exceed many of the 25% of the waterway rules so you have to find a dock on a wide enough canal. Good luck!

I wasn't aware of the 25% width requirement, that will definitely limit options on finger canals.
Thanks Sam!

It is worth calling the city in case things have changed but I am pretty sure that is still the deal, it is typical since it will allow two way traffic with vessels docked on both sides.
