we don't have a force 10. we replaced it with an isotemp. the pressure relief valve opens at 110 psi and is pressure only not temp. the port engine runs at 180. the relief valve is brand new. read my original post i don't really know if it leaked all along. i'll be trying the expansion tank when i get to fl.

Sounds like it is time to try the expansion tank. Good luck.

hi all,

after much research i decided to install an expansion tank. naturally i wanted the smallest one with sufficient capacity to absorb the expansion. i landed on whale's (http://www.defender.com/product3.jsp?pa ... id=2654762). i mounted it high on outside wall, above muffler. after 3 full heat cycles it has completely stopped any leakage from the pressure relief valve.
