Masthead light bulb?

Post by chicagocat »

Hello all,

I hope the start of the season is treating you well.

I need to replace the masthead light on my PDQ 36. Before I climb up there, does anyone know the exact bulb/fixture that I need? I have a 1996 model (Hull #52). I called PDQ and left a message, but everyone there seems extremely busy....

Thanks,
Brendan

I don't know the proper description / part number but on my 32 the bow running light and the mast head light use the same bulb so you can probably use that one as a sample.

Hi, Did you get a spec. book with your boat? If so, it should be in there. I don't think we all have the same light fixtures.

Thanks guys.

I'll take a look at the bow light.

I have an "owners manual" with my boat, but it doesn't have the specs down to that level of detail. Glad to know that we may not all have the same bulb, though. Should make the process more interesting...

Thanks again.

On my boat - it's in the Selden Mast documentation - if not - go to the Selden Mast website and they have their parts listed their (including bulbs). Just went through this to replace the deck floodlight on my mast - not too much fun hanging up there for sure - and that was only halfway to where you are going ;)

I also need to replace our anchor light. The owners manual states that the mast light is a 10 watt Jastram 90400290 - S25BLK. It is supposedly the same as the stern light. Before I climb up there, can anyone verify if this is correct?

Thanks,
Chris
