PDQr's, Please help the SSCA with “Operation Bahamas Project”
“Operation Bahamas Project” is a Seven Seas Cruising Association Humanitarian project whose purpose is to take school supplies and teaching aides to the Out Islands of the Bahamas.
This winter we are in need of 30+ boats to take supplies to the Bahamas. The boxes are small approximately (11” L X 9” W X 7” D) and can easily be transferred to a dinghy. They are pre-addressed to each school principal. We plan to deliver supplies to Staniel Cay, Black Point, Little Farmers, Georgetown and Ragged Island. Boats may pick up boxes at the Vero Beach Municipal Marina and in Punta Gorda, Florida.
Anyone interest in helping can e-mail Bruce Conklin at goldconk@yahoo.com. Boats can let us know what island(s) they would like to deliver to and where they would like to pick up the boxes. Many thanks for your help.
Best regards,
Bruce Conklin

Re: Operation Bahamas Project
Alright Terry, you guilted me into emailing your buddy to offer to ferry supplies, but if it's a large quantities of drugs and I go to jail, remember, I know where you live.

Re: Operation Bahamas Project
Hi Tom,
Thanks for stepping up to help. As you know, the Bahamians have been most gracious to all of us when we visit. This is such a small return of the favor and all they do to be friendly.
BTW: Since you know where we live, you should also know that Bob & I have dock space available for any of our PDQ friends, and that you and Amy are always welcome.
