I need to replace the 110 water heater with a propane unit. Has anyone done this lately? Can you suggest an instant hot water heater (manufacturer/model) and a source? Any installation tips? Thanks for your help.

Thanks for your help, amytom.
The price of the 3.2 gpm seems too good to be true at under $300! I couldn't find any details about the product at the Excel website.
Do you know what type of warranty they offer?
Can you give me an estimate as to the size of the unit?
Is the answer obvious if I ask where this unit is manufactured .....is it China?
Thanks again,
Mike.

Re: Water Heater Replacement Help
I think they're made in Brazil and mine does show small amounts of surface rust as it's installed in the forward bow. I have the smallest one at about 10" wide by 16" long (I'm not at the boat so that's a guess, the website should have dimensions).
I can't remember what the warranty was (again should be on the website) but they are responsive when not on vacation. Since they are a Latin company (offices in Miami but made in Brazil) they do take extensive holidays. My first one was damaged in shipping and they swapped it out no questions asked.
I heard about them from Sam and I beleive he's still happy with his as well.
