Log Racing

This past weekend I participated in a log predicted log race. I certainly did not do well compared to the pros. The boat seems very sensitive to wind and wave action compared to others making
accurate predictions more difficult with varing condidtions.
I am wondering if any others have experience log racing their PDQs.
