I own one of the earlier 36s (1992) and after all these years, a sheet finally caught a hatch handle and ripped it out, taking the plexiglass with it. Time to replace the hatch. It's a "Ocean Hatch" Lewmar. There are two options from which to select: "flange profile" or "flat base profile". Does anyone know which is the contact one?
Thanks. Ed

Re: Lewmar Deck hatch replacement question
Just replace the plastic. There are services and It's not bad DIY if you're handy. Unless the frame is signifigantly bent it will be good as new. The hatch should be bedded in butyl, so taking it off is a 10 minute job.
(I stepped on an open one when the handle was in the close position, and dropped an anchor on another. I've got it down to an art by now .)

Thanks for the idea, but the frame is bent as well.
