hi,

we have a 2003 which has a "clamshell" cover glued over the 1) fw tank overflow 2) anchor locker drain 3) holding tank vent. we lost the one over the fw tank overflow. does anyone know who made them and where to get? if not a good alternative?

Hey John, mine came off during the crossing also. Haven't pulled the boat yet, still waiting for some medical procedures. next wed.
Hope somebody comes up with what we need. I'll maybe use a screw or two.
That 37' cat that was next to me is for sale here in Cocoa Beach. $138000.00 Hi to all, RC.

I replaced one on my 34 in 2013. Have been wracking my brain for where I bought it. Just figured it out.
Go to Beckson Marine, choose Plastic Vents and look at #C4A mini clamshell vent. Dimensions are 4 1/4 w by 4 1/8 l by 1 1/2 h.
Attached it with 5200.

Hope it works out for you.

Hi Ron, PDQ used the same clam shell vents on all their boats. Our 36 lost a couple also. I replaced them with ones fashioned from PVC pipe and attached them with 5200. They are still in place after many rough passages. Ray

Looks like Root's idea is best and cheaper. Mine cost about $25 with shipping.

Hi Root, what diameter PVC did you use for anchor locker, and what angle did you cut it? Roger on Teamwork
