Would greatly appreciate any input on what appears to be two different standing rigging arrangements for the 36 later models. I've seen some with traditional upper and lower shrouds and baby stay, and some with a 3 stay arrangement usually found on performance multis. Are these rotating rigs? If not, what is the reason for the 3 stay offering? I've owned several trimarans and the purpose for that rig design was to allow the mast to rotate. If it is for increased performance, how much difference is realized?
Thank you,
Ron

Re: Information on standing rigging variance
P.S. What is the scoop on the backstays?
Thanks again,
