Berth access modifications??

Has anyone modified access making the berth easier to get into & out of? I’m looking for ideas that would make it easier for my wife who is having difficulty.

That’s a tough one. Easiest fix is a new staircase over the top of the step and the seat that exists now. My wife is 5’2” tall and we are pushing 70 so it is getting a little more difficult. The most difficult maneuver is getting from the dinghy to the boat. So far bed has been OK for us. Good luck with this one.
