Prop shaft strut

Has anyone had an experience of having to replace the prop shaft strut? My starboard one is missing.

May I ask how your prop shaft strut went missing?

First, I should clarify. My boat is a diesel. The prop shaft strut is separated from the bottom plate right at the weld. I’m not sure when or how this happened. I discovered it when I dove down to clean the props.
